    Hi all

I posted this in accessories and clothing but thought I'd mention it here as more people might see it.

Some of you know I fell off my bike in April and did some damage to myself. I also did some damage to my Bell Sweep R helmet but haven't replaced it yet as they cost almost £80 and I'm a bit brassic at the moment.

But a mate of mine found this site:

    http://www.ultimatepursuits.co.uk/bell/

where they will replace your Bell helmet after an accident for much cheaper than buying a new one if it's less than three years old!

    Worth buying a Bell?

  2. As a few of us have said in the other post, Giro, Specialized and Met (at least) also do this.

So no, not worth buying a Bell.
    - buy the best helmet you can afford, which generally means the one which fits best !

Perhaps it's this one - a classic moment from Radio 4's today where they try to explain the meaning of 'the bell end'. Slightly off-topic I know, but it's so funny that I can't resist sharing it !
