I have recently bought a new crank for my fixie but I have noticed that it is slightly bent as the chain fools off about one a month and I was wondering if it was possible to make it straight again.

Some cranks are shaped, are you sure it is bent.
If it is you can't straighten them as this would weaken it. Oh and if it is bent, your knee will soon start complaining.
