Try West Country Recumbents.
They deal with Greenspeed who do bent tandems.
There demo page is here -> http://www.wrhpv.com/demotrikes/index.html

I've done 1000+ miles on a recumbent tandem in the last year piloting for a blind friend of mine. +1 for trying Rob at West Country recembents, he has a Greenspeed Tandem which is what we tried before my mate bought one. Two things you'll notice when you try it out, it's hard work especially on hills (up) but great on the flat once it's wound up and of course downhill. The other thing is you'll get a sore face from the amount of smiling and laughing you'll do.
