Kool stop "tire" bead jack. Best gizmo I've used for getting really tight tyres on.

FWIW - On the net, I've only seen them on Jenson USA but I've also seen something very similar in Condor in London

My Hope Vision 1's (2 of) - transfer from bike to bike easily and they are very bright, take AA's (so I use the hybrids with long standby time).

I use a pair of Hope 1's too, they're very good. They're also fairly good value alongside ayups and others and I like that they easily swap between the MTB for night rides and the road bike.

They're a bit heavy, but that is quickly forgiven when that searing White light starts boiling the tarmac

I wanted something that took AA's as the rechargeable li-ion cells are very convenient, until you forget to charge them.....

Sorry to go off on a bit of a tangent but thanks for that post
i've just Googled these, they're exactly what I've been looking for but just didn't know it
I got caught out just last week after a double puncture on the MTB and ended up riding home in the half light with no lights or H-Viz.....
I'm definately going to be investing

Ill try and post a few pics so you can see what its like!
