In winter it's usually a hot strong coffee with loads of brown sugar. On a hot(very rare i know)day i sometimes like to have a Guinness and lemonade shandy.
Milk. Then black coffee, bewhilst bathing in hot scented water with a selection of piano-based classical music playing softly in the background.
Or possibly Earl Hines or Art Blakey. Or Motorhead.
Nothing beats a long walk or bike ride for making beer taste even better than it usually does. Coffee is for the mid-ride stop. Certain members of this parish have also been known to enjoy a pre-ride sharpener...
A mate had his stag do a bici, and this was the eighth stop.
One of the group told us that in the woods above the pub were some cheeky trails and a gap jump. As we were all MTBers on MTBs, it seemed like a good idea at the time...............................
