On my commute this morning saw the best commuter. So wish I could have took a picture but was gobsmacked!!

I had just come off roundabout and stopped at traffic lights about 10 yrds further along. As I am waiting a cyclist comes past me and straight through red lights. Nothing new I thought until I noticed he was talking on his mobile!! I followed him for the next mile where he proceeded to go through red light after red light still on phone and squeezing between buses and cars.

Unbelievable!!

There is one I see my way dressed head to toe in fluoro green, 3 flashing LEDS on the back, helmet with leds both forward and backwards yet only rides on the pavement ! , wtf

It sounds like the guy I saw yesterday on my way home. Riding towards Turnham Green and I saw this guy dressed all in black with a mid-lenght black coat and a messenger type bag on his back.
He has a rear light but his bag is sitting in front of it so you can only see it from the side.

When I get closer I see he is on his phone, so I take my time before trying to pass him as he's not cycling in anything like a straight line.

As I pass I look over at him and hear him say "hold on I've got Andy on the other line" .....he's got 2 calls on the go.

I was going to wait and see if he got his laptop out and started sending emails as well !!!

Was you going through the red lights as well to follow him?

lol - no just kept catching up with him. Holding a phone and trying to steer with one hand must make you slower. Can't think how

yuk yuk, they'll get theirs, and a bollocking from plod too

i stopped at lights tonight and had no less than seven cyclist sail through the red on both sides of me, that certainly tested my patience

Do mobile phones come across as a bit of a pose?

They do to me.

Mobile phones are like cigarettes, for some people they're a pose, for most they're an addiction.

I can't ever get the bloody things to work and at the end of the day it doesn't seem to matter.
