best cycle apps?

Hi.

i'm looking for an app that maps the route and follows it when you ride and tells you your speed..I looked on the store but there absolutely loads of them.

I doesn't matter if you have to pay for it (up to 10£) or free thanks

hi. I am using bi-cycle mainly because I have got a windows phone and there is limited choice it's not free but it seems to do the job. You can email the god files and load them up in google earth.

people with normal phones will probably have other advice.

ive downloaded it how do you set a start and finish point on the app strava?

you don't set a start and stop point. it will track your ride and finish recording when you ask it to. If you login with the same credentials on a PC/Tablet , you can see your ride and how fast you travelled over sections (called segments), that other people have created.
very addictive, if you are a fast rider - beware

you will be wanting to remortgage and get yourself the Garmin edge 800 then. great bit of kit,but it will cost you.

Whats the best non Strava apps, ie one's with perhaps emphasis on local sights or places to visit rather than how fast you get there (not that there is anything wrong with that lol!)

Not sure of any phone apps but the Garmin 800 does that, just search through the points of intrest and it tells you the distance that they are and after youve chosen one just press go.
