best of 2012

as another year is (almost) over and i ponder what i have done, all my aspirations seem to have shrivelled in the sun i thought i'd list some of the good events of this year... i'll keep it to 5, but feel free to go over that if you've had a particularly spiffing year.

1) meeting girlski
2) winning a trip to the TdF and being in a team car.
3) watching a Peregrine fledge
4) rescuing an injured young grass snake and looking after it (hopefully to be released in Spring)
5) the olympics/paralympics - attending various events, including the road races- seeing Judith Arndt, Cancellara, Wiggins, etc. - the velodrome, fencing, athletics... and more.

1. finally getting a Peugeot 531 wanted since teenager
2. seeing daughter settle in ok at senior school
3. spending some fantastic time with my partner
4. driving on way to holiday in Feb frosts down to -15 some fantastic sights and a great holiday
5. re arrangine bedrooms so now 4 proper rooms rather than 3 and 1 makeshift one
