As an aside to the Oasis thread, who is the best rock star ever. Not necessarily the best singer or instrumentalist (although this must be taken into account). It's a measure of their ability to make the most of the madness and hedonism associated with the whole job description...

(For once, I don't believe it's The Clash - they were the best band ever but aren't in the running for best rock stars)
