Was working in the States summer of '84 for a couple of months, and this was being played so much on the radio. Everytime I hear it I'm rooted right back there - amazing the power of a song to do that

I find it impossible to choose a "best ever" song. A lot depends on the mood, what mood and what memories are flooding my brain at the time as @FrankCrank alluded to.
My music memories go back to the late 50s, some bad songs but amazing memories. I will have a thunk about it
