Best tubular glue or Effeto Mariposa tape

Hi any recommendations? My LBS uses Vittoria Mastic 1. What about tape...such as Effeto Mariposa tape....not Velox...did not like that as the backing tape kept on breaking!

What tyres are you gluing to what rims, for what purpose? (ie road, track, CX)

The best I have used is Panaracer but it does depend on use and skill in application plays a huge part. I have used tape but I don't like it much.

no idea, but it's on manchester velodrome's list of what's allowed on track, which is probably the same for all indoor velodromes. outdoor ones may be a lot less exact…

The issue relates to the angle at which the tyres run around the banking - tape is not thought to be sufficient to guarantee it stays in place. However, the OP still hasn't been back since posting the question, so we're still none the wiser.

I use a mix of Vittoria Corsa and Conti either Sprinter or Gatorskin....i am currently gluing using Vittoria Mastik.
