Got thinking today about really good bands that didn't have mega success but deserved some and were a bit underated......Embrace sprung to mind in my head....how about some others?

Define mega success! Embrace were pretty popular, they sold a lot of gigs and opened for some v big names, and are still widely played a la jukebox now.

I've always hated them, mind you.

The Bluetones! Everyone knows their first album but throughout their career they had a lovely developmental arc.

I recently inherited the bluetones first album. Utter tosh!

Joy Division! They didn't exactly have mega-success, although New Order subsequently did, but Joy Division was definitely underrated at the time (my own opinion, of course).
