50 mile a day. Is that ok to trickle charge with normal house plug?

It's exactly what I do. You'll add 2.3 KW per hour via granny charger. At this time of year for me that's 7-8ish miles, in summer, 10 or so.

My chum has one of them and its only done 149 k and yet it has no rattles, returns high mpg and tows a caravan easily round France, but a speaker has gone in the door.

Very easy to pop door card off and fit speakers though. May as well upgrade them.

Mine's done nearly 86,000 miles, but nowhere near all done by me. I do about 2.75 thousand miles from one MOT till the next. At this hour I can't be arsed to work it out, but let's face it! I'll be lucky if I do another 40 odd thousand miles, before I hand up my car keys forever, so my Fiat 500 should be ok. Considering the above has reached such an amazing amount of miles! 😉

Usually excellent, but of course it should be checked via the 'secret menu'.

BMW battery management tech on the i3 was way ahead of its time, it was a car that was madly over-engineered in general.

I bought mine at 70K and 5 years knowing it had lost 1.8% of capacity - that's a pretty typical figure.

Needs a sophisticated water cooling system for the battery like the i3 really, but would lose a little portability in the process
