A friend of mine saw that a few years back... I was insanely jealous after he described just how good it was!
It was amazing. We saw it in London when it first came out and it was brill, then to see it again (with a few tweaks) some years later in your home theatre with faces you knew was very emotional. They had live dogs and everything!
The cast are so good with the kids too. It was agreat experience for all.

It's without doubt one of my favourite films and 'Hushabye Mountain' gets me every time. :cry::cry::cry:
David Gilmour does a good version too.

Yup... I love Hushabye Mountain... there's a few arrangements on the soundtrack. Will have to dig out the David Gilmour version... that's new to me :thumbsup:

The Great Escape (or as Henning Wehn says the Germans call it 'The Great Recapture') - excllent! That bit where they machine gun everyone down at the end - how festive is that?

Nightmare before christmas
its a wonderful life
original miracle on 34th street.
Die hard 1 and 2
scrooged
the gruffalo and gruffalo's child
Elf
the santa claus
gremlins 1 and 2 cause you can't watch 1 without 2 ;)

and finally my contender for best christmas film:
Muppets christmas carol!!

i'm sure there are more but i can't remember em right now :biggrin:


Muppets get my vote :thumbsup:
