Why has no one mentioned the best Scottish band ever The Sensational Alex Harvey Band one of the best live bands i have ever seen,they played a few times at Padgate college Warrington before they were famous

Now we are into folk/folkrock I saw Wolfstone back in the late Nineties and thought they were brilliant!

Awesome saw The Rezillos a couple of times back in the barmy time!
Still got Mission Accomplished But The Beat Goes On (the live album) on vinyl.
Of course Jo Callis AKA Luke Warm went on to make The Human League into pop giants!

When they were touring, I visited a friend at Edinburgh uni who wrote for the student paper. She had had a tip-off that Fay Fife was in one of the local pubs, so we hared off to it to see if we could get an interview. No Fay Fife - oh well, we had a quick drink anyway then tried another pub to see if she was there. I don't remember that much about the rest of the evening, except that Fay Fife was not in a lot of pubs that night.

Spinetingling. Stayed in a flat off Leith Walk for a while and the view from the back window was the front cover from Sunshine on Leith, just a bit further away.

A cracker of an album vernon, also really liked the 1979 album Feel No Fret.
