England : Kent Bethersden 300

Going through my ride calendar for the year, I found that I've noted the Bethersden 300 in for the 29th June. Does anyone know why? I can't think why I've suddenly decided to put an Audax in my calendar when I've only ever done one before. Starting to get concerned about the early onset of Alzheimers.

I'm forbidden from talking about it. But it was a bit long yes.

So having looked into it further and finding I'd got the date for Bethesden 2014 completely wrong and still not being able to remember why on earth I would book it into my ride calendar, I think I may as well actually do it.

It's the 13th July with the San Fairy Ann CC, choice from 50 to 300 km courses. It clashes with a 50 mile charity ride which starts 1 mile from me http://www.channelrotarybikeride.org.uk/challenge.html so I will miss it, not that I'm ready for 300 km.

I hadn't thought of that. However I have a plan B. My brother lives in Bethesden so I'm sure he'll be willing to put me up for a few hours.
