Beto Track Pump Question

Without the grey adaptor it was Schrader (well it always worked well like that and the Beto website says to put tge insert in for Presta?) but the adaptor changes it to Presta...... OR am i an idiot.... Don't answer that! .

By screwing on the 'grey bit' on to the valve you are converting the Presta valve on the tyre/tube into a Schrader valve aren't you? (I think thays what you were saying but in a different way).

Lifeline essential track pump looks good value from Wiggle at £12. Thought I may aswell get one of them at that price rather than mess about with valve adaptors and the like......

Went for the Topeak Blow Joe Max II in the end for a touch under £19 with BC discount. Got to wait until 7th January to collect from Halfords though which surprised me.....

Good choice! The Joe Blow Twinhead is pretty good, but eventually the washer will wear out, and rather than buying a complete rebuild kit just for the washer I have replaced it with a Brass Chuck (linked to in my first post - but I do use my Joe Blow a lot - daily in the summer when I'm using a bike with latex inner tubes which lose pressure overnight )

I've got one. Wouldn't buy another. Can be nigh on impossible to get to 100psi compared to other pumps I've used. I'd get a bontrager pump instead

Not my experience at all - 110, 120, 125+ psi no problem - maybe you've got a dodgy gauge?

I knew I would get some bad feedback as, in fairness , theres not a product in the world that someone hasn't had a bad experience with.

I have seen similar complaints around tinterweb. Wouldn't buy another Topeak pump (mini one was garbage too, replaced with lezyne one which actually works and looks great)
