Bianchi serial numbers LS285709

Hi there.
I just bought a Bianchi frame...probably made in Japan...with the serial numbers LS285709...can anyone give me an idea of when it was made?..As far as i can tell it has a Sugino BB, dia-compe brakes and I'm assuming it came with Suntour components.

What makes you think it was made in Japan?

The only decal left on the bike is the head tube badge...its a gold badge with a blue banner across it with the name Bianchi on it...

Kawamura may have made frames for Bianchi.
