Bib short question

Just splashed the cash on a pair of good quality bibs for the forthcoming season. (Castelli X2 Endurance)

I already have a pair of regular padded shorts and another pair of bibs. Trying on the Castellis, the fit was nice and snug as should be. However, it did seem that the chamois seemed to be positioned a bit far forward. Assuming a seated bike riding position the chamois barely covered my sit bones.

Is it just a case of pulling the shorts up from the back to get the pad positioned more on the sit bone area?
I'd hate to think I've spent a wad on bibs that aren't right for me.

Sounds like you just need to adjust the position of the pad a bit? Maybe check you can get comfy before you take the labels off?
