When you buy bibs , how do you decide on your size if you are in-between two sizes? I am size 38 and I tend to order 36-38 rather than 38-40 as I rely on the bibs being a bit stretchy and therefore more accommodating. What do you do?

I could always do with the narrower waist but some bibs the narrower waist shorts are too short (excuse the pun), the straps are to tight and I cant stand up.

I normally size up on cycling kit - normal clothing is mostly 'S', but the cycling clothes are 'M'. The only problem I've had is a recent purchase of Endura bibs, which would have been better in 'S'. Several sets of bibs in other makes have been fine in 'M'. I'm just over 5'6" and 10st, so not exactly a giant.

Buy both and see which fits better. Return the other....or go to a shop, try some on, buy the ones that fit better. Not forgetting to assume a cycling position during the try on process
