It's a good thing what our government has done, now our municipalities have to act on this influx of cash and use it smartly !!!

Always interested to hear about innovative ways in which cycling(?) is being promoted/supported. Please tell us more. 👍
Not much to tell yet, Canada, no, North America has a long way to go when it comes to cycling. Holland should be the showcase for the world !!!

There is a lot in the Netherlands that is not optimum although they are, of course, way ahead of most of the test of the civilised world.

We should be inspired by them, but we should also learn from their mistakes rather than slavishly copy that which they do. What works in another country rarely transplants successfully to the UK without consideration and suitable adaption.

Here in Canada, Alberta specificly, most are fair weather cyclists, we don't like the winter, I don't mind it, just pedal harder, you'll stay warmer

The only bear I have seen in the wild was in Alberta. True story.

I did also do a bit of MTB whilst there but not at the same time as seeing the bear.

We actually had one eat our sandwiches off our outside table at a lodge just outside Jasper. A lady came running up the road shouting "bear bear"
We took her into the lodge but didn't have time to move our food. The bear tucked in to our sarnies just outside the window!
Luckily the bear must have been full after the sandwiches so walked off leaving us relieved!
