Is there anyone here on cycle chat who plays Bicycle Polo?

Last week I attended the open tournament in Cambridge as a spectator, and today I had ago at the activities and sports experience at the Forum here in Norwich.

There's a CycleChatter called landslide (from Sheffield IIRC) who's a bike polo person - nice chap too, haven't seen him around here for a while though.

I've played in the past, bloody good fun and much cheaper than the real thing!

Radius / Jack, sometime of this forum and more likely to be on LFGSS now, was/is a fan. Apparently the dudes saw half the handlebar off - well, the other hand holds the bat - innit? In London, played around the splediforous vistas of Brick Lane, Vauxhall, etc I believe

Hmm interesting. I wonder if you could adapt basketball to this? Now that really would take some skill!

Make the courts a lot bigger, climb off the bike to do a slam dunk...

Harvest Way In Cambridge: right next door to, and run by the Bicycle recycling people (the name escapes me at the moment).

If I recall correctly what Harvey; who runs the place told me, the Polo court is open for all comers 3 evenings a week, and all day on Sunday's.
