Is it that they assembled them all in a position that provides no access or enjoyment of the bikes whatsoever

Upside down bottle cage? Only one I have spotted so far but only looked at 3 or 4 of the bike pics so far.

Just "It's the science museum" would do. I've just sent their most recent guide book back with several glaring and obvious steam engine related mistakes marked in red.

And this thing museums have about hanging things in the ceiling. "Exiting", "Dynamic" curators, education bods and exhibition arrangers call it. Ruddy stupid I call it. At the moment we are trying to persuade the powers that be that hanging a rare boat with unique features upside down might impress the school trips, but, yerknow, some adults might like to see the details.
