Big chase opening, fights, car chases, gadgets and girls.

It's got a cracking opening scene, but there's too many references back to older films which makes it look like they're running out of ideas.

Good, but not as good as Skyfall, and it's about time the DB5 was retired.

Oi, Can't have enough of the Astons. They had BMW's a few films ago, and even a Mundano !!!

Skyfall was awesome at the Cinema. Going to See Spectre on the big screen. Has to be done. Watched Skyfall on a 40" telly, and it wasn't the same.

Went yesterday. Being a lifelong Bond fan, I was looking forward to it and really wanted to like Spectre, but it left me a tad underwhelmed. I actually felt myself nodding off once or twice during it, and if the soundtrack hadn't been so loud I might well have dropped off for a proper sleep. The format just seems to have gone a bit stale: fast cars, chases, fights, gadgets, girls, Bond infiltrates the enemy and is given an insight of the enemy operation before they unsuccessfully try to kill him, then Bond escapes and saves the world.

Am I the only one who thinks of George Lazenby when someone mentions Bond?
Diana Rigg as the bond girl and Telly Savalis as the villain. The ski scene with snow clearing machine was great.

Lazenby is said to have quit as he thought the franchise had run its course. Probably a good call, after that it all was a bit of a parody of itself.

I thought the last couple of Bond films lacked a coherent narrative.

Seemed to me more like a series of impressive special effect sketches, rather than a good tale told in a visually entertaining way.
