Does anyone take thier dog on a bike some how?

I'm asking because I sometimes ride fishing, but I used to walk there with my dog... I can't really do both. I was wondering if people take thier dogs on bikes somehow, maybe I can look at those methods and adapt it to my dog.
I was thinking maybe a trailer with some sort of harness system made up to clip the the car harness he wares when he goes in the car.

Problem is he's a Rottweiler and at last vet check came in at just over 60KG so I dunno if I am totally pissing into the wind with this one.

60kg

Hook him up to the front and let him take you

Even if you could find one one big enough I would've of thought that you run into some maximum trailer weight issues (off the shelf ones).

Hahaha, I laughed out loud at that.

Actually there was a thread a little while back about dog/bike solutions....will have a look for it...

...Can't find that thread at the minute.

Perhaps this might be your only solution...

I can just imagine the traffic parting like the red sea! Plus I think you'd get plenty of passing room.

I tried a Burly Tail Wagon trailer with my Labrador and he whined like all 4 legs and his tail were broken...
Did not like it at all, am considering a Nihola Cargo trike instead, as dog will be in front and hopefully happier

Could be a good option for you as your fishing gear should store nicely in the front too
