Big milestone today!

Today, for the first time in the 49 years that I have been on this planet, I went and bought a new pair of jeans in a waist size LOWER than the last pair I bought ! Down from 34" to 32", last time I bought 32" waist must have been at least 15 years ago. Weight has gone down from touching 14 stone 2 years ago, to a few pounds over 12 stone.

Worryingly though, it doesn't seem that long ago that I was a skinny 18 year old (10.5 stone, 28" waist) trying desperately to put weight ON .

Well done indeed. It's a good feeling ain't it?

I had to buy a stack of new clothes (jeans, t-shirts etc) since my weight loss also. Pain in the bloody arse (and wallet)

One of my older brothers, age 56, can still comfortably fit into the suit he was married in, 25 years ago! He's about 10.5 stone with a 28 or 30" waist. Been that way all his days . Has worked in the pub trade for about 35 years so spends a lot of time on his feet. Just wait until he retires.......
