Bigger water bottle or two of them?

I got a 800ml bottle today, I can always carry my spare 500ml in my rucksuck.

The frame on my bike is so small I can only fit 500ml bottles in the bottle cages...

Checkout 'sidecages' - I ride a 44cm compact road frame and can carry (and use while riding) two 750ml bottles.

Simply have someone follow you in a car and every time you raise your hand, they'll drive upside you and hand you a fresh bottle ... make sure you hold onto it a few more seconds than normal for a free ride

I have two specialized Zee side bottle cages on the Allez and have yet to have a bottle pop out, even on the roughest of roads

I have carbon cages and never had a problem with any size bottle jumping out.

2 bottles for me, one with 50% orange juice and half a spoon of salt, the other with water.

I also have bottles with lids which I use if it's raining as I don't like the idea of drinking through a dirty spout.
