Just a pointer, the Roc D'Azur is open for registrations, still places available, only 10,000 gone so far!
If you love mountain biking, even if you don't take part, just being there is worth it. The associated show has all the big name manufacturers displaying anything and everything that uses 2 wheels and although it is in October we still managed a swim in the sea afterwards last year.
