Hey everyone.. I started browsing here about a week or two ago. I’m extremely late to the buying a bicycle when you’re working from home game. Last bicycle I remember having was 15yrs ago back in h.s. - a target bike. Anyways I’m considerably heavier than I was back then.. around 275lbs and 6’ even if that helps.. (down from 315 since January - keto and avg around 1500kcals a day)

I’ve been walking an average of 4 miles a day for the past month and I’d really like to give biking a try.. I have some friends who are crazy into exercise and tell me I should try to put less stress on my knees. So I decided to hit up 3-4 bike stores nearby and they’re all out of stock of decent bikes.

Looking at bikes.. I’m not sure if they will hold my weight :/. So I was hoping maybe this community will point me in the right direction.

I’m south of Tampa, Florida ... so most of my riding will be on sidewalks.. paved roads and also some gravel paths.

These are some of the bikes that I’m considering. they’re all hybrid / fitness bicycles.. in no particular order :

Having had a Quick, I can vouch for them - great bikes.

A quick look through your links suggests they're all a fairly similar spec. I'd not bother with the suspension forks as you really won't need them and at that price will only add weight (and not be that good anyway).

Speaking of which, you don't need to worry, they'll all take yours. You'll be putting the biggest load on the back wheel, so ideally you want one with a good number of spokes, which all of those look to have.
