Bike hire in/near Grenoble

If I act quickly I've found I can get a return Eurostar/TGV fare to Grenoble for £100 in August. As I'm not sure if I can face packing up my bike and lugging it with me on the journey, does anyone know of anywhere one can hire decent touring-style bikes in the area, or are they all VTT? (I can't cope without drop handlebars, decent gearing range and pannier rack...).

Thanks, I'd forgotten about him, though I 've actually decided to do something closer to home now.
