Bike in Turbo trainer

Hi, is it ok to leave the bike in the turbo trainer in between usage?

I leave mine on but I do release the tension on the wheel as then there is nothing under stress

I have 1 bike set up on a turbo all through the winter.I only check that it's tight and the tyres are inflated before i use it.never did any damage that i can see

Current one has been in there about 5 years. I release the spring loaded roller after each use.

I think I may have left mine in too long after it got wet.

Ours is strapped awaiting use and stays that way, never had an issue
