There are well proven simple solutions to all the problems covered in the survey. No need for connecting smart devices to the bike.

There's no need of course, but that there was no need for gear changers integrated with brake levers, clipless pedals, disc brakes, tubeless tyres...and so on and so on.

I'd quite like an app on my phone where I could check tyre pressures without having to manually connect a pressure gauge. I'd pay a few quid for that.

Actually, that Pokemon Go thing seemed to encourage quite a few teenagers out on their bikes... although they were looking through their phone screen as they rode around and were a bit of a liability :laugh:
