Bike pinched from outside nursery

I had my Whyte Portobello bike stolen from outside my daughter's nursery on North Side Wandsworth Common this morning. It still had her seat attached, a Hamax Smiley.

I have only just been paid out from my last bike being stolen 4 months ago (see the Insurance Co extracting the urine thread) and now this has happened. We even saw the bugger riding off on it on CCTV, but with his hood up you can hardly make him out, and I'm sure will be useless for the police.

I have posted this in the stolen bikes section, but just wanted to cover all angles. Any sightings of what is quite a rae bike would be much appreciated.

Not a lot I can do from here, but you have my sympathy.

How did the scrote get through the lock?

No idea, the CCTV only covered the entrance, not the bike itself.

i take it it was locked??and what kind ?

Old-ish D lock (10 years) through rear wheel only, as the the rack is a wheel slot in job.

Maybe next time remove the front wheel, a hassle I know, but not many thieves carry a wheel with them.
