I used to use this site, then it had a make over and wasn't very good, eventually it closed, now its back.

Still isn't very good! The map is hopeless. Bikehike has a bigger map that allows you to see the full route easily.

I haven't been on bikehike for a while, I notice it still has the problem with it taking random roads occasionally, trying to second guess where I'm going, I'm having to untick follow road then use undo to go back past the section where its gone of my route and then redo that section again.

Yes, Bikehike gets upset when you take a shortcut.

Yes, Bikehike gets upset when you take a shortcut.

It gets upset when you go straight on at a major junction and tries to take you the long way round.

You just have to untick "Follow Road" and shoot across before resuming.

I have used bike route toaster in the past. Tend to use ride with GPS now.
