I got a Garmin 605 before Xmas and I'm just getting round to playing with it. However when I upload a saved ride from the unit to Bike Route toaster, BRT assumes I'm at the South Pole and won't generate a map, any ideas??

TIA

Is it in the correct format? On a tcx file, if you open it in Notepad, does it look OK, something like this:-

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?>
<TrainingCenterDatabase xmlns="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/TrainingCenterDatabase/v2" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/TrainingCenterDatabase/v2 http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/TrainingCenterDatabasev2.xsd">
<Courses>
<Course>
<Name>Durness to Ding</Name>
<Lap>
<TotalTimeSeconds>22358.341680937</TotalTimeSeconds>
<DistanceMeters>149921.99694638</DistanceMeters>
<BeginPosition>
<LatitudeDegrees>58.568590</LatitudeDegrees>
<LongitudeDegrees>-4.746220</LongitudeDegrees>
</BeginPosition>
<EndPosition>

etc etc

Don't the newer Garmins create a gpxx format, which only bike hike can read?

Not sure what else to suggest. Sorry.

Ah I knew bike route toaster wasn't the one I normally went to before for looking up routes. Bike hike!!!

Cheers Adam will give that a go.

LATER NOTE: Adam you're an absolute star. Bike hike shows it perfectly.
