I hadn't thought about it. I could put the various crap into a small plastic storage shed then use the outhouse for the bike. What does waterproofing involve?

Whatever it takes to stop water from getting into outhouse, could also involve sealing it from inside.

Actually, just out of sight are the handlebars. That chandelier is in fact the bike's front light.

I've just put my sons bmx on his bedroom wall. The beauty of these Tacx brackets is you can take them off the mounting plates when not in use so they not obtrusive

A Brompton costs a grand minimum. Your hybrid was £300, an Asgard is under £500...and you can get 4 full size bikes in one

That could work , make it secure and leak proof. and install ground /wall anchors .

And don't pull the wrong chain.
