Hi All,

I think this is an odd question, but I feel I need a stand, typically as when I came home today I had to lean the bike against a table so I could dry it off.

But is it worth getting a stand as a separate item or should I just accept that during the winter I may want a turbo or VR trainer and use that instead.

Or is that a totally dumb thing and the two things are completely separate and I should get a stand now and make my decision on a trainer later?

Best regards

Chris

Turbo takes up a lot more space than a stand, if you go for a vr trainer more cumbersome/ awkward to move about. Wouldn't recommend putting a dripping wet bike on a turbo especially an electric powered one.

Stands are dirt cheap, turbos aren't, I use these for ease http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-track-bike/trivio-bike-stand-rear-wheel/trivbiks200
