Giant Defy 1 disc stolen
Hi all, after a ride on Wednesday night I had my blue Giant Defy 1 disc stolen from by car at Buckhurst Hill. With it went my Garmin Touring, Moon rear light and Carey's front. It's fitted with Continental Gatorskin tyres size 700x28 and look keo Classic pedals. The bars are wrapped with white soft tape. Please keep a lookout.

Just thinking, why dont insurance companies do courtesy bikes? mmmm..

contact garmin and tell them .... the garmin will be used at some or other time and as soon as it connects to the garmin website, they will know as each garmin has a unique serial number (I'm guessing though) ... you will be able to trace the location of the user and the IP address of his/her computer

The garmin one is a good one, even if sold seperate from the bike. Turn it on and it'll send a unique ID number.

my name and contact details come up on my Garmin when it's switched on with a message of my choice - like "this is a stolen Garmin" - it's easy to do
