Just spent another week in my touring caravan and was kicking myself that I didn't take a bike.
until the Saturday we were leaving when we woke to learn the motor home owner 3 pitches down had his electric bike stolen during the night
Mrs and I had been discussing the pros of fixed bed caravans , I had never liked them nor were they practical with the children.
now the kids have grown up the bed putting up and down has become a chore.
Also mrs sanddancer was taken with the large rear bathroom and seperate shower area.
"I don't think I could get a bike in there though love, maybe one with the fixed bunk area that converts to an indoor cycle storage would be nice" didn't seem to go down too well
anyway, hope the chap got his bike back or was covered on insurance.
mrs sanddancer has told our house insurance my bikes are not in the shed but in the utility room so I dont think they are covered
