Have a look around, but make sure the tyre is actually the right size for your frame. Sometimes the actual tyre width than differ slightly from what the manufacturer advertises, best bet is to see the actual tyre widths on a forum after you’ve chosen one. If there’s plenty of space in your frame then it should fit.
Another thing to be wary of is the diameter of the tyre bead. 700c corresponds to a 29 inch mtb tyre. It is worth researching different tyre types but new aftermarket tyres will definitely make a huge difference if the ones you have now are stock. I use schwalbe X-One for general off-road/tarmac. There are better tyres for wet roads.
Hope this helps!
