Bike Weight

Which bike? I have more than one. Do I take an average between them? Or select the most commonly used?

My bike weighs around 11kg at the moment, more when I have my work stuff loaded on. But I'm only 69kg (5ft 10) so my net weight is still less than most of you on your super high end 10,000quid road bikes. Yes I am feeling smug

I'm over 100kg. I really don't think knocking a kg or 2 off the bike is going to make much difference. Besides which, my mass makes me an absolute rocket downhill

not sure how heavy my Madone is, think I'd get a slap if I put it on the kitchen scales? I'm 64kg if that helps... how do you weigh your bikes?

If you've got a set of bathroom scales weigh yourself holding the bike then weigh just yourself and subtract from the first weighing.

mine is just over 12kg without pedals, water bottles or pump, plus i weigh a ton

but hey atleast i know my wheels are strong

My scales aren't too accurate so it's something from 9-9.3kg without water bottles etc.

virtuoso 11 kg ish unladen but you can add panniers,rack, lights etc to that .
