It went down in March and came back, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for another revival.

Meanwhile, MapMyRide and GPSies are pretty good.
 
I use BH because it has the option to reduce the waypoints/trackpoints to <500 - which is what you need for an eTrex.

We've been here before and no-one seems to know of an alternative which works with the eTrex so that you can create a track to upload with <500 points.

Lets hope it comes back..........

BH is unique (I think) in that you can switch from Google maps to OS; and they are both on the screen simultaneously. If anyone knows of alternative that does this, I should be very grateful!

I like bike hike but it stopped the feature where you could save routes and let other people link to them.

is what I use now to save routes and post the links for others to use.
 
Bike route toaster is pretty good, it doesn't show OS maps but it does give you the option of using OS data for routing. I find this much better than Google maps which often route throgh private farm roads...
