Bikepacking - suggestions for camping around the Woodhead Pass / Langsett area?

Trying to work out where we can pick up camp around the woodhead pass / langsett area (between Sheffield and Huddersfield), hopefully avoiding members of the public. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

There's a CCC certificated site at Carlecotes (~2 km NW of the Flouch) that may possibly let you in, though it's officially members only, and there's a campsite by where Crowden YHA used to be, but I think that's about it, other than wild camping.
I'd probably go wild, in one of the remaining bits of forestry around Langsett reservoir.

Langsett can be a popular, if it's just for a single night I'd go for Midhope reservoir, using this track

Bank view cafe in Langsett is probably good for brekkie and sells a few bike spares if you're desperate

Thanks for the replys. I know the area well but its my first real wild camping trip really and we couldnt think of anywhere secluded enough to set up camp.I like the crowden idea if we chicken out and i recognise the woods, theyre on the top of midhopestones hill that runs at the side of the mustard pot pub arent they ?
