1) Two man (l've got to have some comfort!)

2) Outer pitch first.

3) Less than 2kg would be ideal.

4) Ideally green as l may venture into wild camping.

5) Not cost a fortune, maybe £400 maximum?

I'm a fan of Vango tents (I have 4! From 1 - 6 man)

Does this link work: https://www.vango.co.uk/tents?all=1...]=5-2+Person+Tent&price_range=40-405&count=15

There are several that tick all those boxes, though you'd need to check on the specific pitch instructions I can say every Vango tent I have pitches outer first in fact the inner stays attached throughout (can be removed for cleaning).

Currently looking at the Robens Starlight 2, seems to be a good solid roomy 2 for 1 man tent.
I favour a well made tent over lightweight ones, I do think Sub 2kg tents less than £400 isn't realistic.

I have an Alpkit Ordos 2, which can pitch outer first if you have the footprint. I also have a Tarpstar 1, which can also be outer first. I have yet to use the Tarpstar (Christmas present), but I have always enjoyed the Ordos 2. The Ordos 2 weighs 1.6kg with the footprint, and cost less than £300.

The Vango Helium and Nexus are two man and sub 2kg. The Nexus is the most expensive at £300

I do like the look of this in order to carry my tent:-

I like a tent I can stand in and get my bike in. Among others, I use a decent pyramid tent from Go Outdoors in the summer. Loads of space and only about 3kg if you lose the pole and get a lightweight extendable one from amazon.
