Can I open an even bigger can of worms here. If you think the 80s were bigger, better, stronger, longer then what about the 60s......

It's difficult to compare the two as the 60's were pre-metrification, and the 80's were metric, and had VAT added

Does 'repaired' mean got it out of the loft and put a new stylus on it?

1) Actually putting the band from the 'spinny bit' onto the bottom of the 'turntable' without it dropping off, every time as I put it back together....

2) I also invented a 'circlip remover' by using a pair of scissors to un-cut outwards..

3) Getting some vinyl downstairs to the record player before, she who does not like my music, returns home
