Ok, hot on the heels of the Easyjet thread, does anyone have any recent experience with transporting bikes in Asia, particularly with Air Asia? I have heard they have put up the price of bike transport by an excessive amount in the last couple of months. They used to charge 300 Baht (about 5 quid) but now charge in excess of 3000 Baht (about 50 quid).
Are there any other options for bike transport within Asia on cheap airlines?
