Bikes Scales..

Could anyone recommend some bike scales hanging ones if poss as I'm after total weight of bike, I have kitchen scales for the smaller stuff.
Kilo and grams please..

I find the cheap digital luggage scales work fine. Mine has a loop and metal hook. Just wrap it around seat with a bit of padding. They are accurate to within 20-40g and only cost a couple of quid.

Being friendly with a vetinery nurse at our local practice helps. The few times I have wanted to weigh a bike I just take it in and it goes onto the animal scales. Most bikes just fit on the platform OK.

Thats what I have at the moment is some fishing tackle shop scales.
But the mistake I made was I listened to SHMBO and she said get a cheap set of scales. Silly me.

And luggage scales double up for weighing luggage. Invaluable if you ever fly. We wouldn't be without ours.

+1 for the luggage scales. We got ours from Aldi for a couple of quid.
