Does anyone know if the Beeb taken the trouble to mention Bikeweek so far ?
As a comparison the Breakfast show has been talking up Royal Ascot without fail every day (although I guess that might be for the London region only)

The only thing I've heard vaguely about it is on the bbc site and news asking for opinions of commuters on their bikes. I think it's been around for a while though and magnatom or someone like that mentioned it yonks ago

this very light weight story also appeared on the magazine

Today's BBC1 news bulletins carried a story on municipal bike hire schemes similar to that in Paris, but not a mention about BIKE WEEK.

The six o'clock news had it's piece as similarly described by summerdays on the other thread about 6:15pm with a few other bits and bobs. I think on the whole the pieces on the beeb website have been fairly good as they've managed to pretty much avoid the twin irrelevences of RLJing and sustrans and focus on the actual cycling.
