Bing Maps

I was wanting to follow the route of an old railway line on the titular mapping site earlier

However, it seems that they've re-jigged it all, & the OS option has disappeared

I wonder if it's due to any kind of licencing agreement, or just that whichever team at Bing needs a good clout around the ears


Failing that, is it just me, who's missing something obvious with the site??

I gave up on Bing many years ago.

I'll admit I much preferred it, when the service was under the 'MultiMap' name, btu needs must

Unless, there's another equivilant site that uses Ordnance Survey?

OS Maps are working fine for me on Bing Maps.

Tends to go down early once the daily limit of OS maps is reached...

If I 'try the new bing maps' the OS maps seems to be missing, but if I hit Exit (in the bottom right) to go back to the old interface the OS option is still there.

You are not alone in having things highlighted and linked to external sites from CC.

It's only just started to happen in the past few days

There is a software malfunction - these links should only be visible to non-members (or those not logged in). It has been reported and we are awaiting a fix.
