It must be the weather, birds seemed to singing all night last night..12,30 a blackbird was singing its head off
and i was awake at 4,30 listening to a dawn chorus..
they will be nesting soon..

In the bird world, the blackbird is amongst the best of singers, IMO.

I would have considered it a free concert and not a disturbance.

Was it raining in Peterborough last night? They like singing on mild wet nights - I reckon they're singing about breakfast worms creeping out of the waterlogged soil.

A robin was singing in the dark as I rode to the supermarket this morning. Then a magpie joined in with a rather more raucous call.

Robins sing at night in towns & cities because of all the lights.
